Well, we didn’t see that one coming. While Honda has been busy shouting about the benefits of hydrogen power with its now-near-production Insight, the firm has just released information about this absolute beauty from out of the blue – a four-motor, all-electric concept race car based on the new NSX and aiming to compete in next weekend’s Pikes Peak Hill Climb event. We love you, Honda!
We already know the upcoming NSX is undoubtedly a stunning car, so it’s no surprise that this yet-to-be-named beast is also rather pleasing on the eye. What we’ve also learnt is that it will be rocking one electric motor on each wheel as it attempts to win in the Electric Modified Class at this year’s event.
Last year, a CR-Z-based electric prototype piloted by Tetsuya Yamano won the event with a similar Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) running gear. Remember that one? So Honda quite rightly has high hopes this time around too.
Keep your eyes peeled to see how this beast gets on. But for now, we’ll let you admire those gorgeous lines…
