UK company Voltes gives the Tesla more style
Okay, so we all know that the Tesla Model S is a real stunner when it comes to raw supercar-esque performance, and many of us will agree it also looks pretty good too. However, not everyone will be entirely satisfied with just having a ‘pretty good’-looking supercar rival. Many will argue that the Model S doesn’t quite posses the exotic eye candy to equal its jaw dropping performance, and they may have a point when compared to say, a Ferrari or a Lamborghini. Well, for those who want to beef up the appearance of their Model S, or indeed just wish for it to look a little different from the rest, let me introduce Voltes.
Improved downforce
Based in the UK, Voltes is the first Tesla-specific vehicle upgrade company in Europe, and despite the company’s relative youth, Voltes already offers a range of styling options for the Model S. At the most basic end, customers can opt for the Carbon Styling Pack to give their Model S a subtle-but-significant facelift. This option includes a boot lid spoiler, side sill trims and front wing styling blades, all hand crafted out of high quality carbon fibre. If this isn’t quite enough to satisfy, customers can go for a front and rear under-spoiler and diffuser system, which not only helps to make the S look heaps more aggressive, but Voltes also claim will help improve downforce without sacrificing the factory ride height. There’s also a more purposeful looking full-width rear spoiler available to add even more meat to the Tesla’s bones.
These will all help to give the Model S a visual boost that many people crave, but if you want to really go all-out, I would strongly suggest taking a look at the gorgeous Voltes Gen-SS package. Voltes teamed up with European styling house, Larte Design, to deliver a whole load of aesthetic awesomeness, designed to make the Model S as awe-inspiring to look at, as it is to drive.
