The Revolutionised Mercedes EQE 350+

has introduced a comprehensive array of upgrades to various models, with the standout improvement being the new Mercedes EQE saloon’s 350+ trim. This updated trim boasts a staggering 429 miles of plausible range, a remarkable 49 mile-range enhancement from the previous EQE 300 iteration. The enhanced single-motor, 2WD powertrain now features an improved 96kWh battery, a significant increase from the previous 90kWh.

A Speedier Ride

In addition to the enhanced range, the slightly larger battery also adds a considerable punch to the EQE 350+’s performance. It can now reach 62mph almost a second faster than the previous model, accomplishing the feat in a brisk 6.5 seconds.

If that’s not enough to quench your thirst for power, Mercedes has also launched a four-wheel-drive EQE version – the potent 500. This variant features a 91kWh battery and a dual-motor setup, producing a combined 402bhp and can catapult the opulent EV from 0-62mph in under five seconds.

Additional Spatial and Stylistic Upgrades

Alongside the saloon, the Mercedes EQE SUV has also been gifted with similar upgrades, increasing its overall range by 43 miles to 376 miles. Interior and exterior style upgrades have also been made available. Both the saloon and SUV variants now offer the option to select the AMG Line Night Edition specs, which offer larger wheels, more glossy and chrome finish on the exterior, and a sportier cabin ambience including brushed aluminium pedals.

Moreover, Mercedes offers an optional Luxury Interior Package, which includes premium quilted leather heated rear seats, with the addition of heated steering wheel and windscreen. The acclaimed MBUX Hyperscreen also comes as a standard feature in the higher trim models. The updated EQE series starts at £69,105 for the saloon and £74,495 for the SUV.

The Broader Mercedes Family

Mercedes is also diversifying its other models, with the CLE 300e now available as a plug-in hybrid. The E-Class and GLE models can also opt for diesel-hybrid variants, offering up to 70 miles of pure electric driving. Alongside these exciting updates, Mercedes has also introduced ‘Urban Editions’ for the C- and E- Classes and their electric counterparts. These editions, available only with a hybrid powertrain, include the Night Package, AMG-inspired styling and privacy glass.

There’s no doubt that these updates to the Mercedes electric line offer consumers high speed, luxurious comfort, and an impressive driving range. As the world moves towards cleaner and more sustainable transportation, Mercedes continues to usher in a new era of electric mobility, with constant innovation and improvement at the forefront of their mission.
