As the world shifts gear into the age of electrification, the Nevera stands as a shining beacon of electric performance. Recently, the first UK customer received their Nevera, and with it, an unmatched fusion of power, technology, and design. Let’s take a deep dive into this Croatian marvel and see what makes it a stand out amidst its electrified peers.

Taking Delivery of Lightning on Wheels

The first UK customer took delivery of their Rimac Nevera in February this year, from the only Rimac dealership in the UK, H.R. Owen. The customised Nevera, finished in a bespoke shade aptly named “Nemesis Green”, stands as a testament to the close collaboration between H.R. Owen, the Rimac Automobili design team, and the new owner.

Under the Bonnet

Living up to its reputation as a revolution in electric vehicle technology, the Rimac Nevera houses a potent 120kWh, 6,960-cell battery. It powers four individual electric motors that together generate a jaw-dropping 1,914hp and 2,360 Nm of torque, setting new frontiers in the realm of EV performance. Given the limited production run of 150 units and the level of advanced technology embroiled within, the Nevera unquestionably marks a landmark moment in the history of automotive performance.

Awards and Accolades

The Nevera doesn’t just deliver hair-raising speed and jaw-dropping performance; it also brings accolades home. GQ’s Hypercar of the Year, TopGear.com’s Best Electric Performance Car, and the prestigious Robb Report Best of the Best awards’ Best Hypercar – the Nevera has bagged them all.

Leaving Records in the Dust

The Rimac Nevera isn’t one to shy away from a challenge. It has shattered 23 acceleration and braking world records in a single day, including the 0-60mph, 0-100mph, and the hypercar benchmark: the 0-400kph(249mph)-0 test. Furthermore, it also holds the record for the highest top speed for a road-going electric car in 2022, clocking a staggering 256mph (412kph).

The Rimac Nevera has delivered a masterstroke in EV design and performance. While its bespoke design and unmatched performance standards are lauded, the limited production run could leave some enthusiasts wanting. Yet, it stands as an indomitable testament to the potential of electrification in hypercars. With vehicles like the Rimac Nevera, the future of the electric vehicle industry looks incredibly bright and powerful.
