, the advanced Swedish electric performance car maker, reports a stellar third quarter with a 50% increase in global deliveries year-on-year. The company is optimised for further strong performance, focusing on delivering premium value over sheer volume.

Introduction: Electric Innovation on the Fast Track

Polestar, the innovative Swedish electric performance car company, has reported a phenomenal third quarter in 2023. With a brand built on the pillars of sustainability and advanced technology, Polestar is emerging as a formidable contender in the auto industry.

Skyrocketing Deliveries and Steady Growth

In the third quarter of 2023, Polestar recorded approximately 13,900 vehicle deliveries, indicating an impressive year-on-year growth of 50%. This leap can be largely credited to robust sales of the upgraded, higher-priced Polestar 2, which significantly bolstered the company’s profit margin. For the first nine months of the year, the company reported an annual growth rate of 37%, including approximately 41,700 deliveries. Polestar also announced the expected commencement of deliveries for the Polestar 4 in China in the final quarter, projecting delivery of between 60,000 and 70,000 vehicles in 2023.

CEO’s Take on the Company’s Progress

Reflecting on the company’s strong performance, Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar, expressed satisfaction. He attributed the success to the company’s strategy of prioritising quality over quantity. Ingenlath also hinted at the imminent launch of three exclusive cars, including two luxury SUVs, which would be aimed at the high-end EV segment.

Financial Projections

Polestar aims to publish its unaudited financial and operational results for Q3 2023 on November 8th, 2023. The firm’s CEO and CFO will share actions taken to optimise costs and enhance profit margins with a vision to achieve profitability by 2025. A live audio webcast is scheduled on the same day for shareholders to participate in a Q&A session.

Looking to the Future: Sustainability is Key

Polestar is not slowing down anytime soon. The company has set an ambitious target to roll out five high-performance EVs by 2026. Emphasising their dedication to eco-friendliness, the company has also embarked on the Polestar 0 project, pledging to produce a truly climate-neutral car by 2030. The commitment to zero emissions underlines Polestar’s forward-thinking approach.

Wrapping Up: The Road Ahead is Bright and Green

Polestar’s outstanding performance in Q3, along with the prospect of higher profit margins in 2023, underscores the company’s dedication to innovation and sustainability in the electric vehicle sector. With their focus on delivering value, luxury, and high performance, Polestar is currently on track for a substantial impact on the automotive industry in the coming years.
