Ohme, a UK-based electric vehicle (EV) charging provider, has partnered with energy supplier E.ON Next to offer more affordable overnight charging for EV owners.
Lower Off-Peak Charging Rates
E.ON Next’s Next Drive tariff provides off-peak charging at 6.7p/kWh between midnight and 7am. Under this rate, charging a Smart #1 (with a 49kWh battery) from empty to full would cost around £3.29, providing approximately 193 miles of range.
Jean Coleman, Commercial Director at E.ON Next, said:
“This partnership helps make EV charging more cost-effective, supporting drivers in the transition to electric vehicles.”
David Watson, CEO of Ohme, added:
“Working with E.ON Next allows us to provide more drivers with access to competitive energy tariffs.”
