All-new Nissan Hyper Punk, an Epitome of Self-Expression and Connectivity

The Nissan Hyper Punk, made distinct with its functional and ultra-stylish body, is an all-electric compact crossover. Its design has content creators, influencers, and artists in mind, making the Hyper Punk a vehicle that goes beyond just commuting.

This next-gen crossover paves the way for users to express themselves in both virtual and physical worlds. Its vehicle-to-everything (V2X) system allows the user to charge their devices anytime, anywhere and even makes it possible to share the vehicle’s energy at local community events.

A Glimpse Inside the Hyper Punk

The interior of the Hyper Punk is a fusion of digital and art, featuring origami-styled elements that reflect Japanese design. Its onboard cameras can capture the surrounding scenery and, using AI, can transform this into manga-style imagery or graphic patterns. This imagery can then be projected on a tri-screen display around the driver’s cockpit, merging reality with the virtual metaverse.

Designed as a mobile studio, the Hyper Punk’s cabin offers unfettered internet connectivity and can sync with the occupants’ devices and creative equipment, facilitating access to information and creativity on the move. The advanced AI system and headrest biosensors can sense the driver’s mood and select the appropriate music and lighting to boost energy and creativity.

Masterclass Design with a Bold Statement

The exterior aesthetic of the Hyper Punk is enhanced by multifaceted and polygonal surfaces and features silver paint tones that shift depending on the viewer’s angle and light source. The concept car’s dominant design performance and its bold, powerful style defy the minimalist trend, pointing towards the user’s desire for self-expression and Nissan’s progressive approach to new technology and design.

Complete with compact overhangs, large 23-inch wheels, integrated headlights, tail lamps, and rear signature, the Hyper Punk is an embodiment of Nissan’s innovative vision and versatile design ideal for city and off-road driving.

The Hyper Punk in the Digital World

Starting October 19, the digital 3D billboard Cross Shinjuku Vision in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district will showcase the Hyper Punk along with three other EV concept cars – the Nissan Hyper Urban, Nissan Hyper Adventure, and Nissan Hyper Tourer.

Furthermore, starting October 25, these concept vehicles will be available in the online game Fortnite under the name “Electrify the World”, presenting unique opportunities for gamers to further explore and enjoy these special vehicles.

At the forefront of Nissan’s long-term vision, “Nissan Ambition 2030,” the Hyper Punk and Nissan’s other EV concept cars symbolise Nissan’s commitment to becoming a truly sustainable company, driving towards a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive world.
