Elon Musk cannot keep out of the news at the moment whether he likes it or not. Whether it’s his new ‘master plan‘ projection of his big ideas for the upcoming decade, or his merger with SolarCity which promises to be nothing but good news for his electric car firm, if there’s anything you can say about our whacky CEO, you can’t say he’s lazy.
Today’s instalment of MuskWatch concerns some of his upcoming models. Replying to a Tweet from Road & Track magazine, Musk earlier confirmed that the Model Y IS a thing, coming in the shape of a mini-SUV based on the Model 3 chassis. He also cryptically confirms that several variants of minibuses will be created off the back of the larger Model X floorpan.
Of course, with the introduction of the Model Y, this brings his line-up list to S, 3, X, Y. S3XY. Very mature, Mr Musk!
