But with a pre-order list as big as the one this car has received, we’re not surprised the firm is feeling a little pressured to get things right…

Jalopnik reader and California resident Jeff Klaklring spotted this matte black test mule tucked away between a convoy of Model Ss yesterday near the company’s Silicon Valley HQ, before promptly whipping out his phone to get some snaps.

“I stood in line to order a 3 so I was kinda freaked out when I saw it,” confesses EV fan and potential future Model 3 owner, Jeff.

So, what do we think so far? The miniature Model S lines are really doing it for us, and we are also a fan of those more aggressive, angular, head- and tail-lights.
