LA Auto Show: 25% of Audis set to be EVs by 2025, says president

Audi is predicting that a huge 25% of its annual sales will consist of electric or hybrid cars by the year 2025. Considering how huge a brand Audi is, this is a very positive number concerning the future of EVs.

While this figure is only for North America, this is by far the hardest market to break, with Americans loving their gas guzzling SUVs. If it can crack the States then it can crack Europe and other continents will follow suit.

Speaking this week at the Los Angeles Auto Show, President of Audi of America Scott Keogh told reporters “Audi’s not a half-measure brand, when we go in, we like to do things right.” He sounds fairly confident and with a big budget brand like Audi, I have every faith in him achieving that goal.
