has unveiled full UK pricing and specifications for its all-new EV4, marking the brand’s first foray into the electric C-segment hatchback market. With order books opening July 1st and first deliveries expected this autumn, the EV4 brings Kia’s acclaimed EV technology to the competitive family hatch segment.

The headline figure is that impressive 388-mile range from the long-range 81.4kWh battery – the longest of any Kia EV to date. But there’s more to this car than just range figures.

Powertrain and Performance

All EV4 models feature a single front-mounted motor producing 201bhp and 283Nm of torque, delivering 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds. The real story lies in the battery options:

  • 58.3kWh standard range: 273 miles (£34,695)
  • 81.4kWh long range: 388 miles (£37,695)

Charging peaks at 350kW DC, enabling 10-80% top-ups in just 29 minutes. The sleek design (0.27Cd drag coefficient) and near-full underbody cover help maximize efficiency.

Coming Soon: The Fastback Variant
