A Ground-breaking Development
Polestar has recently launched a remarkable and valuable upgrade. A fresh over-the-air (OTA) software update now allows Polestar 2 drivers to enjoy YouTube on their vehicle’s integrated app. This enhancement implies one delightful implication: a limitless supply of hilarious canine antics.
Even the top brass at Polestar acknowledges the significance of these amusing videos for their clientele. Polestar CEO, Thomas Ingenlath, was quoted saying, “We’re aware of how much our customers eagerly await our over-the-air enhancements, and I’m convinced this update will be warmly welcomed, with its remarkable new features and improvements.”
New Features and Enhancements
These latest enhancements include the introduction of the YouTube app (this, of course, can only be accessed when your vehicle is parked), and a new version of the Polestar’s Range Assistant. This feature now boasts of an updated algorithm for a more precise range prediction, and the new capacity to allow drivers to keep track of their energy consumption over the previous 20, 40 or 100 miles.
Additional Functionalities for Apple CarPlay
There is also extra functionality introduced for Apple CarPlay. Now, more phone and media information are displayed on the home screen. Call handling has been enabled through the steering wheel buttons, and Apple Maps can now be seen on the vehicle’s driver display.
Ingenlath added, “YouTube is an excellent source of entertainment while the vehicle is charging. Our newly updated Range Assistant app offers more accurate predictions and supports a more economical driving style.” He referred to a driving style wherein drivers will now spend more time parked and viewing dogs engage in various funny antics.
