Faraday Future to enter Formula E

We wondered whether Faraday Future was up to something to do with Formula E back at the Long Beach ePrix earlier this year, where a chat with the firm’s tech specialist, Ezekiel Wheeler, drew up more questions than answers (see vid below for full interview). Well, today, it’s officially been announced that the mysterious EV concept car firm will be teaming up with Dragon Racing to form a Formula E team for the 2016/2017 season.

Speaking from the warm-up to the London ePrix in Battersea Park, Faraday Future told us that it will also become a stakeholder in Dragon Racing, although the finer details are understandably not yet known.

The team will be known as Faraday Future Dragon Racing, and you can see its debut in October at Hong Kong.
