Rimac Nevera, a high-performance electric vehicle, recently embarked on a 2,136km journey across seven European countries, showcasing the practicality of long-distance EV travel. Just days after announcing its partnership with IONITY, Rimac put the Nevera to the ultimate test, leveraging its advanced 120kWh in-house-developed battery pack and IONITY’s award-winning 350kW Halo chargers.
The Grand Tour Across Europe
Starting at Rimac’s headquarters in Zagreb and ending on the promenades of Saint-Tropez, this European tour traversed awe-inspiring geographies, including the winding roads of Croatia and Slovenia, the stunning vista of Döbriach am Millstättersee, the Austrian Alps, Italy’s Lombardy region, and finally France’s azure Riviera coastline. Against a backdrop of varying weather conditions and diverse terrains, the Rimac Nevera demonstrated its GT capabilities and durability.

Powerful Battery and High Speed Charging
The crux of this tour was to highlight the synergistic blending of the Nevera’s 120kWh battery pack and the IONITY’s 350kW Halo chargers. With a WLTP* range of 490km and the ability to reach 80% charge within just 25 minutes, the Nevera’s advanced technology was on full display. Furthermore, the vehicle’s future-proof design, which enables charging at 500kW for 0-80% in 19 minutes, assures readiness for the next wave of charging technology.

Under the Bonnet
Delving into the vehicle’s technical specifications, one cannot overlook the Nevera’s stunning acceleration and power. With Rimac’s powertrain technology at its core, the Nevera stands as the fastest-accelerating production car in the world. Its capabilities were tested and proven on the challenging roads that crisscross the European terrain.
After six days and over 2,100km, the Nevera’s journey concluded, leaving behind a trailblazing testament to the potential of electric mobility. The partnership between Rimac and IONITY marks a significant milestone in advancing EV technology, making long-distance EV travel both feasible and convenient.
