BYD, the world’s leading New Energy Vehicle (NEV) and power battery manufacturer, has chosen the prestigious Geneva International Motor Show 2024 to showcase a variety of models, sub-brands and ground-breaking NEV technologies. Europe will witness the first unveiling of BYD Super DM (Dual Mode) Technology, embodied in the BYD SEAL U DM-i, marking a revolutionary step forward in intelligent Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) technology.
The spotlight will also be on the latest version of the BYD TANG, the powerful 7-seater all-wheel-drive pure-electric SUV, refreshed and restyled for the European audience. Also making their European débuts will be BYD’s innovative sub-brands, YANGWANG and DENZA, further testament to BYD’s technological advancements and diverse premium brand portfolio.

A Showcase of BYD’s Enhanced European Product Range
Since their entry into Europe, BYD has unveiled six full-electric models – the BYD ATTO 3, BYD HAN, BYD TANG, BYD DOLPHIN, BYD SEAL and BYD SEAL U. The Geneva Motor Show will see the addition of the BYD SEAL U DM-i to the lineup, boasting the next-gen Super DM (Dual Mode) Technology. This efficient, practical and green solution suits all mobility needs, providing an effective alternative in regions where electric charging infrastructure is evolving or where consumers seek the benefits of electric driving without compromising on range.
The revamped 7-seater, full-electric SUV BYD TANG will be presented in Geneva as well. This intelligent E-SUV perfectly balances practicality and comfort for eco-friendly travels. Recognised for its commitment to safety and sustainability, the new BYD TANG has been awarded a maximum of 5 stars in the Euro NCAP Safety Test, even before its European launch.

Introducing Sub-brands: YANGWANG and DENZA
The Geneva Motor Show 2024 will see the European premier of YANGWANG, BYD’s luxurious sub-brand. YANGWANG represents the ultimate innovation in new energy vehicle technology. The YANGWANG U8, fortified with two groundbreaking technologies – the e⁴ platform and the DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System – will take the centre-stage.

The e⁴ Platform, the world’s first commercial four-motor independent drive technology platform, significantly enhances vehicle agility and adaptability in varying driving scenarios. The BYD DiSus Body Control System minimises occupant discomfort during high-speed cornering, acceleration, or braking and enhances vehicle durability under challenging road conditions.

In 2010, a collaboration between BYD and Mercedes-Benz resulted in DENZA, a premium brand committed to delivering superior auto products and services. After the successful launch of the 7-seat MPV, D9, the DENZA D9 will be introduced to the European market at Geneva. With a series of comfort, safety and performance innovations, the DENZA D9 aims to provide consumers with a luxurious and intelligent driving experience. The DENZA N7, a stunning full-electric mid-size crossover SUV, is also set to make a mark at the event.

BYD will occupy stand 4221 in Hall 4 at the Geneva International Motor Show, and their Press Conference is slated for Monday, 26th February at 11:45AM.
