Bentley set to electrify its concept sports car

-

Bentley’s EXP-10 concept (pictured) didn’t fail in wooing the crowds when it was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show back in March. It certainly ticked all the right boxes in the looks department for a big, brash, two-seater GT, but little was ever discovered about what would power the brute.

Until now, that is. Head honcho Wolfgang Durheimer has been heard toying with the idea of turning the car into Bentley’s first electric car, which would be released after the launch of the brand’s upcoming SUV, the Bentayga, due in the very near future.

The two-seater format would put it in the firing line of cars such as Porsche’s potential Mission E sports EV, along with giving Tesla yet another reason to be afraid.

A silent British muscle car to waft down to the south of France in? Sounds like an incredibly compelling concept to us…
