‘s latest move has taken everyone by surprise: a China-exclusive sub-brand, called Audi UM, that’s launching with a head-turning 765bhp electric wagon concept. Yep, this one’s for China only, with Audi zeroing in on the massive demand for luxury EVs there. And they’re not holding back; this new e-Concept looks more like a luxury lounge on wheels than anything Audi’s made before, stuffed with tech, ultra-modern design, and space to stretch out.

This beast sports dual electric motors and plenty of power, not to mention an estate profile tailored for Chinese roads. Audi is teaming up with local manufacturers to bring these models straight from Chinese production lines, meaning that these premium EVs are aimed directly at Chinese car enthusiasts—and it’s raising some eyebrows in the West. If Audi UM nails it, we might see hints of this radical design trickling down into Audi’s global lineup.
