Fiat Makes a Splash with the Grande Panda
Fiat is back at it! The Italian automaker has once again caught our attention with the first glimpse of the upcoming Fiat Grande Panda. Known for its innovation, Fiat has breathed new life into this Eighties classic. The reinvented icon will arrive in the UK in hybrid and electric forms later this year.

A Surprise Package with a Bold Appeal
The Grande Panda is no ordinary supermini. It is roughly the size of the erstwhile Fiesta, but Fiat has taken it to the next level with its unique exterior design. The automaker describes the design as a blend of distinct lines and smooth, daring surfaces that accentuate the robust wheel arches. It dares to be different with an audacious, cubic interpretation of one of the world’s best everyday cars.

Saluting the Past, and Shaping the Future
We can’t help but fall in love with the way Fiat has harmonised the past with the future. The front of the Grande Panda flaunts a sort of cube design, with daytime running lights that morph into indicators. The side panels seemingly echo the vigour of the Eighties Panda, and the 3D printed Panda lettering is a wonderful homage to the sturdy old Panda 4×4.
The Grande Panda will be built on the Stellantis‘s ‘STLA-Smart‘ platform. This decision opens the doors for a global footprint in both hybrid and electric versions. The car is said to offer a generous interior, with room for five and a robust volume.
More than just a Pretty Face
It’s not just the design that’s packed with personality. The Grande Panda will be available in a vibrant array of colours, including a very zesty yellow. We’re eager to see more, and we’re sure you are too. Keep your eyes peeled for more details later in the year.
At EV Performance, we can’t help but be smitten with the bold, blocky style of this gem of a car. The Fiat Grande Panda is set to be a truly eclectic blend of the old and new, and we can’t wait to see it hit the roads!
